Parish Renewal

FATHER KENAN PETERS, C.P. will be joining us this year for our annual Lenten Parish Renewal.

His visit will include:

 Speaking at all weekend Masses;

 Celebrating Mass and speaking on OurJourney to God (daily topics listed below) at

8:00 AM each morning, Monday-Thursday, in the Daily Mass Chapel;

 Offering Confessions 3:00-4:00 PM daily, Monday-Thursday;

 Speaking each evening, Monday-Thursday, at 7:30 PM on Our Journey to God (daily topics listed below—Fr. Kenan will give the same talk in the morning and evening of each respective day), in the Church.

 Offering Confessions each evening after his presentation, Monday-Thursday.

The title of each talk is as follows:

Monday: Living Where God Is—The Present;

Tuesday: Our Journey to God is One of Deepening Awareness of God, of People, of Life;

Wednesday: Our Need for Affirmation in Our Journey;

Thursday: The Passion and Resurrection

Childcare will be provided each evening, Monday-Thursday. Please call the Parish Office at 755-7503 with the number of your children that need care. We will receive the children in the St. Pio meeting room no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the beginning or the Renewal each evening.

The invitation has been given by Jesus himself: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened and I will refresh you.” He has invited you. But he will not force you. Please do not miss this wonderful opportunity to open up your hearts to the flood of God’s grace and spirit. The key words for this special time are: enrichment, reconciliation, affirmation in faith. If you are too busy to answer this invitation of Jesus crucified, then you are too busy!
