Greetings from St. Joseph School! My name is Mrs. Byrnes and it is my pleasure to introduce you to our School. I know you will enjoy our website!
We hope to meet you in person, too. Since 1914, St. Joseph School has been serving the families of our parish in east York, providing careful Faith Formation and an excellent academic program. Our graduates make us quite proud—they are second to none as they enter Junior High School!
SJS serves students from Preschool through Grade 6. Our School is a family, always ready to welcome new members. Many of our children have parents and even grandparents who are SJS graduates. We hope you soon feel like one of the family, too!
Our faculty is dedicated to every child. We provide a positive, faith-filled atmosphere where success is always possible. We have over 25 professional teachers, assisted by several well-trained and experienced classroom aides, who all serve in our regular school day or our After School program. Our office support staff is committed to serving students and their families. The Franciscan Friars who serve our Parish are another important part of our school program. At SJS our students love to learn and are excited to share their progress with everyone. Parents are a valued part of our program as well. We need your help as volunteers, and your partnership in your child’s education.
