The Church works to educate its members in the ways of faith and morals. Through the traditions of Catholic elementary and secondary schools as well as higher education, catechisis of public and home schooled children, bible studies, homilies, and seminars, the Church works to clarify the Catholic Faith and preach the Gospel to all nations as Christ commissioned her to do.
St. Joseph Parish is fortunate to sponsor many of these kinds of ministries. St. Joseph School is an accredited institution servings grades Pre-School through Sixth Grade with over 25 faculty members with a student population of over 350 students. The St. Joseph Religious Education Program serves over 600 students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade who are home schooled or attend a public school. In addition to children's education, the Parish offers a wide variety of adult formation ministries as well as Catholic Parent Workshops. St. Joseph Parish also joins the other parishes in the York Deanery to support York Catholic High School, the secondary school serving grades Seven through Twelve. The Pastoral Staff works to catechize parishioners in the Catholic Faith through their ministries, publications, and witness.
