Dealing with Grief

All of us deal with Grief from time to time. Grief is the result of a loss-a loved one, a job or maybe even a direction in life.

The most common form of Grief, however, is coping with the loss of a husband, wife, son or daughter, a pre-mature baby or a particularly close friend. Grief is very common and ordinary. However, it is not always easy to process. At this time, we do not have a special ministry for those who are grieving. What we do have, however, are priests and lay people who are more than willing to be of service to you with direct and personal pastoral care. We can also recommend additional professional help if your situation calls for this.

So if you need someone to talk with concerning your loss, please call one of the parish priests. If he is not available when you call, please know your call is important to him, so leave your name and phone number with a short message. He will return your phone call as soon as possible.
