What is the Carpenter's Call?

As a result of a parish-wide survey taken several years ago, the Parish Council initiated a quarterly newsletter to be mailed to all registered families of the parish in an effort to increase communication as well as evangelize (spread the Good News of the Gospel). Overseen by the pastor, the newsletter committee generates ideas of interest relevant to the upcoming quarter, writes articles, periodically interviews staff, volunteers, and other members of the parish, formats the 4-page newsletter in Microsoft Publisher, and sends it electronically to a printing company to be printed and mailed. If you enjoy creative writing, interviewing or working with computer graphics, please contact the pastor to inquire about becoming a committee member!
