Mission and Purpose

The Catholic Woman's Club of York was founded in 1922 and incorporated in 1924. The object  of the club is for the promotion of educational, literary and welfare work.  It is also established to stimulate a feeling of fraternity among its members. We are an affiliate of the National Council of Catholic Women.


Member Requirements

Requirements to be a member is to be a Catholic in good standing and be a member of one of our deanery parishes. Interested women can contact Elynn Shelly at 717-755-8335.  They can also attend any one of our events as a guest by contacting Elynn or checking our our website at
