Are you being called to serve the less fortunate, but struggle with finding the time to lend a helping hand? If so, this may be just the ministry for you! Every first Friday of the month, St. Joseph parishioners feed the hungry by preparing 20 casseroles for Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.

Simply pick up an aluminum pan from the desk in the lobby and follow the attached directions; then return the filled pan to the church lobby receptionist desk by 8:00 AM on the first Friday of the month. Volunteers from Our Daily Bread pick up the filled pans and deliver them to the Soup Kitchen to be baked and served to the hungry of York. Casseroles can be made the night before, or even further in advance and brought to the church drop-off frozen.

Thank you for helping our parish perform this corporal work of mercy.
