Secular Franciscans

Is the Lord calling you to pursue a deeper relationship with Him?

Could Christ be calling you to a vocation as a Secular Franciscan?

We are Catholic men and women from several parishes around the Diocese of Harrisburg, people you encounter every day. We are not a club or society. Some of us are married, some are single. We have homes, jobs, families and friends, but we share our faith journey as secular members of an INTERNATIONAL ORDER founded by St. Francis of Assisi more than 800 years ago. We strive to live each day according to a Franciscan Rule first approved by Pope Innocent III, with the Gospel as our guide and our focus on Jesus Christ.

Where and When do we Meet?

St. Joseph Fraternity meets each month on the third Friday at 7pm at St. Joseph Church in the St. Francis Room, when we pray together, socialize and support one another on our faith journey.
