First Reconciliation Day Instructions:
On the day of First Reconciliation, we ask that you arrive about ten minutes before the scheduled time and go directly to the church. Do bring the family and invite extended family members if you wish. Children sit with their families. Please choose places in the center section as close to the front as possible. All family members who are of age are invited to receive this beautiful sacrament today.
When your child is finished with individual confession, return to the sanctuary, kneel at the altar or crucifix with your child to say the penance or a prayer of thanksgiving. Then go to the Jesus poster where a teacher will give your child the lamb that was made in class with his/her picture on it, and help him/her to place the lamb on the poster. At this time you are free to leave.
PLEASE SEND A SMALL PHOTO OF YOUR CHILD (approximately 1-inch square) TO HIS/HER TEACHER BY December 12, 2016.
