This is Mrs. Mickie Eveler's fifth year
teaching art at St. Joseph School for grades K thru 6th and
can be found at Seven Sorrows, BVM in Middletown when she is
not at St. Joseph. She enjoys the variation art offers and
feels that it is one of the few jobs you can have fun, make
a mess, and get paid for doing it!
Mrs. Eveler has a B.S. from York College
of PA in the Behavior Sciences and returned to become
certified in Elementary Education in 1999. Teaching to her
is a vocation that is not only rewarding but an inspiration.
Born in Littlestown, PA on a farm, Mrs.
Eveler was a real tom-boy. She was often found playing in
the mud with her sister at their pond trying to create clay
dishes. She is the mother of 3 boys, one who is a H.S.
teacher, another who designs boats, and the youngest who is
presently in college. Mrs. Eveler and her husband enjoy
flying to the beach. Hobbies of hers include sewing,
puzzles/games, and gardening.
Her dream is to create a desire for all to enjoy art in one
way or another.
