St. Joseph School has been an important part of York County for almost 100 years. Children receive a faith based education in a small, family setting. Currently, there are approximately 260 families at St. Joseph School with children in grades Pre-K through sixth. St. Joseph School welcomes families from all over York County. Busing is available from most school districts.
While faith and academics are key to our school, we also teach cooperative learning and healthy living. In addition, giving back to the community through service projects is an important part of what happens here. Classes are small at St. Joseph School, and each student receives personal attention every day! The faculty includes our principal, fifteen homeroom teachers, seven specialty teachers, and three classroom aides, who make our school a warm and happy place for children to pray, learn and grow.
We recently received our Middle States Accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education which promotes and recognizes educational excellence. St. Joseph School, York is united with the Diocese of Harrisburg. Our school has earned a fine academic reputation. Our students’ test scores are excellent!
