What is In the Loop?

It is a weekly electronic (email) newsletter about activities & events in and around our school. All issues of In the Loop are archived and can be retrieved. There are also times when a pressing In the Loop message would be sent (bus running late, change in lunch menu, etc). We ask that you look at your emails daily for messages like these, but certainly at least once a week.

Who receives In the Loop?

Families who have provided the school with an email address will receive In the Loop messages. These emails are sent from "St. Joseph School, York – In the Loop". Paper copies are sent home to families who do not have access to email. Families are responsible for notifying the school office if they have a change of email, or if they need a hard copy sent home at any time during the year.

How do I submit items for In the Loop?

All items must be emailed by 3pm on Tuesday of that week to Rose Rucci. Information in an email or a Word attachment is preferred (all items will be converted to a PDF). Please do not send PDF files.

Additionally, each item must have a contact name, email and phone number for reference. Each item will be treated as article on a page and not necessarily full pages. If you are sending a flyer, it will typically be treated as a full page.

All items require the approval of the School Principal. Necessary editing will be at the discretion of the school.
