PocketLunch®

PocketLunch® is the lunch management program we use as a way to track and manage student lunch accounts. No more meal tickets to buy. No more writing checks for each child. Each family will have their own account, listing all the children who attend St. Joseph School.

In order to set up your family account each family should send a payment before the first day of school for their child(ren). After that, email notices will be sent out when ever your account falls below the Threshold established for that account. Threshold is determined by the number of children listed in your family account.

Here are the guidelines for your Threshold:

  1. If you have one child attending school, send a check for at least $20. Your “threshold” will be $10.
  2. If you have two or more children attending school, begin with at least $40. Your “threshold” will be $20.

The reason we have a “threshold,” is by the time you receive notice that your account is getting low and you send in payment, your account will not go into the negative. Not paying your account on time impacts the school financially.

Using the program also ensures confidentiality for those who are using the National School Lunch Program. No one can tell if your child is receiving reduced or free meals.

You can send in cash or checks, checks are preferred. At this time we do not accept credit card payments. You can, however, set up an automatic payment from your bank account if you use their online banking. All you need to do is send it to St. Joseph School. In the memo section you can put “lunch.” This method helps solve the problem of misplaced or lost payments, or children forgetting to turn in their payment for days.

Any questions can be directed to the School Administrative Manager.
