DEAR PARENT AND TEEN:

These policies are to inform you about the Steubenville Youth Conference “Above All!” (1 Chronicles 29:11) at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio on July 10-12, 2009! This annual summer conference is the yearly highlight of our IGNITE youth group at St. Joseph’s and St. Pat’s and has been instrumental in bringing countless teens into a deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. If you have gone before you have already noticed that this year will not be returning to LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro, Massachusetts, but heading to the site where the youth conferences all began. This is because LaSalette Shrine will not be hosting the Steubenville East Conference this summer due to a variety of reasons. Instead, the Steubenville East Conference will be held at the University of Rhode Island. Rather than drive all that way to a secular site, the Core Team decided to attend the conference in Ohio at a Catholic University. Please carefully read all of the information contained in this “policies section” (EVEN if you have attended in the past because MUCH of the information for this year is NEW) so that everything will go smoothly this year.
